Peter Lamb is a collaborative professional who is passionate, organised and dedicated with over 30 years of experience in the Work Health Safety (WHS) industry, also working with teams in an Environment and Quality Management framework.
Having worked in all areas of WHS in Industrial, Civil, Drilling, Construction, Corporate and Oil and Gas Production Safety has led to working in most states in Australia and working in the harsh conditions of Australia’s Outback regions enabling Peter to be adaptable to all work environments.
Having commenced working life as a tradesperson and developing skills, studied and joined the safety ranks. Peter’s key objective is about the welfare of people, continuous improvement and engaging with key stakeholders and enjoys “fixing things”.
I’m committed to driving and supporting change processes to foster a safer working environment and pass on my knowledge to any persons/ businesses. Having worked with Santos Ltd, Bardrill Corporation, Origin Energy and Iberdorla Australia (formally Infigen Energy), he has worked alongside multi-disciplined teams to ensure the success of the business strategy.
Away from work, Peter’s first love is for his family and his 6 grand “grandies” children, where he enjoys watching them grow as fine young people. Likes most sports, having grown up with either a bat, ball or racquet, the obvious pathway was Aussie Rules, Cricket, Football (soccer), supporting Port Adelaide and Liverpool supporter (don’t hold that against me). Doesn’t mind cooking (experimenting), outback travel, music and with some old footy mates and family, has an interest in a couple of racehorses.
