Vishnu Nair

Founder of Emanden Technical Solutions Pty Ltd, Vishnu Nair carries over 20 years of industry experience as a Project, Construction and Commissioning manager, having worked on large scale projects in the oil & gas, power generation and mining sectors.

Vishnu kicked off his career, being based in Asia. He spent his initial years undertaking construction and commissioning management work for large scale gas fired power generation projects (both open cycle and combined cycle) in Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and the USA. Vishnu then moved into the Oil & Gas Sector, working for Shell Exploration and Production Asia Pacific in a Project Engineering and Project Management capacity for mainly offshore greenfield and brownfield projects. Here Vishnu took on a lead role in project delivery, including front end design, fabrication, hook-up and commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness.

In 2007, Vishnu relocated to Australia to take on the Engineering and Commissioning Management role with Origin Energy, working with the Major Development Projects (MDP) group across several large gas and power generation projects. This included being a key member of the APLNG team that supported the achievement of FID 1 and FID 2 on the project.

After moving from Origin Energy in 2012, Vishnu took on senior leadership roles in project development and delivery for Rio Tinto, Clough Australia (including CloughCoens, Clough JV in Korea) and BHP Billiton Olympic Dam.

Vishnu’s humble beginnings with Emanden go back to the back end of 2016, and like most successful start-ups, the company began operations out of a home office. With the aim of providing project management, project engineering, construction management and commissioning management services to various sectors in Australia and South East Asia, Vishnu has today brought the organisation to incredible heights with high-profile clients to boast.
